Players take on the roles of The Flash and Reverse-Flash using the Rivals mode ofDC Deck-Building Game. Each player must recruit unique Speedsters and Rogues and utilize various Equipment and Super Powers with the ultimate goal of defeating your foe three times. Each time a character is defeated, they gain new abilities and become more difficult to overcome.

The Multiverse just got even bigger! We asked you last year what you would want in a newMultiverse Boxand we listened. Whether you get the Kickstarter ExclusiveSuper-Villains EditionorSuper Heroes Edition(or BOTH!), you get a box that is HUGE13 x 13″and features one wider row designed for oversized Character cards. It is also taller (over 4.7 inches), meaning you can stack rulebooks easily.

Note: Not all these cards and dividers come with the Multiverse Box. This is a render of what your collection could look like when stored inside.

Each row can hold approximately 540 sleeved cards and 5 dividers. The wider fourth row can potentially hold about 520 sleeved oversized cards, if you put nothing else there, or approximately 360 sleeved oversized cards with both components boxes present.

Please note:Both editions of the Multiverse Box are identical on the inside and come with the same components. The only difference is that the Super-Villain Edition has a Kickstarter Exclusive cover. Both editions will get all relevant stretch goals.

The Multiverse Box not only provides a storage solution for your collection, but it also includes theMultiverse Crossover Pack, which features an alternate mode that lets you play with your entire collection!

Games using the Multiverse Crossover Pack have an additional Event Line-Up filled with cards from random sets. Each Event has an ongoing ability that applies to all players until all the cards in the Event Line-Up are purchased. Whenever the Event Line-Up runs out of cards, a new Event is drawn and its Line-Up is refilled with cards from a random set.

In addition to the central Super-Villain stack, each player has their own stack of Super-Villain champions that can Attack other players by triggering the ability of the Multiverse Location they are protecting.
